I am a fine art wedding and boudoir photographer, and love what I do because of the places I've been and the people I have met (and photographed) along the way.
As a biology student in 2006, I came into photography by happy accident through my travels and study abroad adventures. After changing my academic path, I pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Photography where I honed my artistic and technical skills, explored many avenues of the industry, and realized photographing people is what keeps me positive in life.
THERE'S SOMETHING BEAUTIFULLY PERSONAL ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHING ANOTHER PERSON, AND I THRIVE ON THIS INTERACTION.
in a Grace Kelly, linen-bound journal, wrapped in silk ribbon, always gracious kind of way. I believe a classic will never be forgotten, and that timeless beauty is indelible. I believe kindness is the best act we can show one another. I believe an heirloom is a tiny piece of a long story...where you came from, where you are, and where you aim to go...and this story renews itself each time it is passed on. I believe in seeing the very best in the world, and more-so in the people who surround us. I believe that the silent, in-between moments, subtle glances, and genuine vulnerability are telling, beautiful, and worthwhile. I believe we all have a story, and that your story matters.
I believe in elegance...
An elegant glimpse into history, reminding us of the days they were built and the land they defined.
Joyful, loyal, and absolutely stubborn to the core. How could this not win anyone over? When you visit the studio (in the colonial era barn attached to our home) you may see our beagle, Boeing, snoozing on the porch.
Southern New Hampshire is where I call home with my husband, our daughter, and beagle. We love finding adventure together, whether that's in the woods at our home or on the road.
Fresh cut flowers make any space happier. Just the thought of spring and what might bloom first is what gets me through the long winter.
